BTS V and Champion: A Global Partnership for Fall/Winter 2026

Kim Taehyung, better known as V of the South Korean boy band BTS, has been announced as the newest face of Champion. The American athletic and lifestyle brand has entered a global partnership with V, placing him at the center of its upcoming Fall/Winter 2026 campaign.

According to the announcement, V joins a wide-ranging roster of talent for the “True Champion” campaign, which spans sports, music, and culture. The campaign features Romeo Beckham, Sofi Tukker, Kyle Kuzma, Danna Paola, Megan Keller, Bella Sims, and Jaalen Best. With a mix of athletes, musicians, and creators, the campaign is designed to celebrate the many ways people inspire others through their identities and talents.

Stefani Fleurant, Executive Vice President of marketing, sport, and lifestyle at Authentic, the brand management company that owns Champion, said in a statement: “V’s creative vision, global influence, and genuine connection with his audience make him a natural partner for Champion. Together with an incredible cast of athletes, artists and creators, this campaign celebrates the many ways people inspire others through who they are and the incredible talent they bring to the world.”

The choice of V is notable. As a member of BTS, he has been part of one of the most successful music acts in the world, with a dedicated global fanbase known as ARMY. His involvement in fashion extends beyond stage outfits: V has become a familiar presence at international fashion weeks and has worked with major luxury houses. He is recognized not only for his vocals and stage presence but also for his distinctive personal style, which ranges from relaxed silhouettes to tailored suiting and bold accessories.

For Champion, partnering with V is a way to reach younger, more diverse audiences while staying true to the brand’s sporting roots. Champion has been a staple of American sportswear since its founding in 1919. It is widely credited with popularizing the hoodie and became a defining uniform for college campuses, professional sports teams, and eventually streetwear culture. The brand’s iconic “C” logo has appeared on sweatshirts, caps, and sneakers across the globe, making it a symbol of both athletic performance and casual style.

The “True Champion” campaign is now available in Champion stores in the Philippines. A dedicated collection featuring select styles is scheduled to arrive in the online channels of Anthem and Zalora, as well as in select physical branches, in October. Shoppers can expect campaign pieces that blend athletic functionality with
