Because students need enough energy and glucose for proper brain functioning. If you skip the most important meal of the day, you will feel lethargic and lazy. Tryout can last till late at night. Hence, you will not able to perform well if your stomach is empty
Do Not Wear Unnecessary Accessories

Do Not Panic and Overstress
Panicking and stressing out can only make things worse. So, it is better to feel relaxed rather than being anxious and nervous. Since it will have a great impact on your performance. Just stay easy and give your best.
Do Not Forget to Use Antiperspirant Perfume
Cheerleading tryouts comprised of physical activities. As a consequence, it is most probable that your body and cheer tops stink badly due to sweating. So, do not forget to keep a nicely smelled deodorant in your cheer bag to freshen you up.
Do Not Go Unprepared
Some organizations require specific cheerleading uniforms for tryouts. So, make sure that you find the required cheer tops ahead of time. Also, ask coaches and teammates about the hairdo and cosmetics before attending the event.
And if there is an interview element, attempt to brush up on your program expertise. This is more applicable to college cheerleaders. However, knowing a few former students and a little bit about the program or school's history is good. It will make you sound knowledgeable and informed during interviews.
Do Not Speak or Act Without Preparation
Don't leave anything to chance. Because it is the best opportunity of making your dream team. Make the most of open gyms. Learn about your surroundings, learn about the tryout process. Plan and practice your tryout stunt ahead of time. Nothing is worse than coming up to tryouts without preparation and a stunt group.
If you don't know anyone else trying out, you can ask the coach or a veteran on the team to help you find a group. Who knows, those girls might become your new closest friends!
Do Not Scowl
Try not to scowl and frown. Because it will show the negative attitude of the student in front of the panel judges. So, please grin! As it is part of the job of cheerleaders. Even if it doesn't come naturally or isn't your nature. You don't want the judges to think you have a bad attitude. A simple smile before and after demonstrating a talent, or while introducing yourself, can go a long way.
Do Not Try Anything You Aren't Comfortable Doing
The judges are looking for both confidence and ability. So, don't try to learn advanced tumbling movements, force splits, or other movements requiring flexibility by yourself. You could wind up doing major harm to yourself. Just stick to what you know you can do well.
Do Not Mumble or Act Shy
Try not to stutter or act bashful during your audition even if you are scared or shy! Speak loudly and coherently, always with a nice smile on your face.
