OBJECTIVES
To convert a large number of people in Bangladesh into skilled human resources through education and vocational training.
To increase the capacity of working people and create the capability of getting jobs in a competitive labor market by providing training with the financial support of the Human Resources Development Fund.
To help build a skilled workforce in line with the domestic and international labor market needs.
To support pre-employment and on-the-job training for women, low-skilled, individuals, persons with disabilities, migrants, internally displaced people (IDPs), older workers, ethnic minorities, multicultural minorities, backward, marginal, and rural communities.
To support conducting re-skilling and up-skilling activities to adapt to changing professions due to technological change and climate change.
To assist in economic development by transferring the workable population into skilled human resources and by engaging in productive and income-generating programs
Strengthening the Industrial Skills Council and industrial organizations will make skills development activities demand-oriented, quality, and dynamic.
To encourage research, survey, and innovation.
To enhance awareness activities to motivate the youth in skill development activities.
